CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table below for the particular system/application.

    Updating Content 7 server.
    User Impact: Content 7 web client will be down including scheduled jobs and student uploads.
  • Thursday, June 19, 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
    Updating Constituo server.
    User Impact: Expected outage of Constituo during this time period. Chang School international applications will be paused for the duration of the downtime.
  • Friday, June 20, 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
    Upgrading WordPress to version 6.8.
    User Impact: The blog.torontomu.ca network will be unavailable briefly (<10 minutes) while the application updates. Subsequently, each blog will experience a brief (<1minute) outage as it is upgraded. A full system restart/outage is not required. There should be no impact to the end users during the testing phase.

    Updating Autodesk licensing.
    User Impact: None expected due to redundancy.
  • Sunday, June 22, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    Upgrading RCC 2rd floor east network switches.
    User Impact: Network devices will be disconnected at RCC 2rd floor east for network switches upgrade.

    Updating MyServiceHub.
    User Impact: MyServiceHub production and all related services will be down during the outage.  STG/SUP will be unavailable on Sat. June 28th & Sun. June 29th.

    Outage for Content 7.
    User Impact: All access to Content 7 on production needs to be shut down as part of Campus Solutions outage. This affects uploads, processes, forms, Experience (web client) and desktop client.  Registrar's office will communicate as needed.None expected.

    Updating RUFIS servers.
    User Impact: RUFIS production services are not available during the downtime
  • Saturday, June 28, 11:00 p.m. to Sunday, June 29, 1:00 a.m.
    Updating RMS servers.
    User Impact: RMS Activation, Self Service and Admin will be unavailable during the downtime.
  • Thursday, July 3, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
    Updating Coldfusion production server.
    User Impact: All Colfusion apps will be down during this period..
  • Sunday, July 6, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    Upgrading network switches in ENG - 2nd floor.
    User Impact: Network devices will be disconnected at ENG 2rd floor north for network switches upgrade. No service impact since there’re no activities on that floor this Sunday.
  • Wednesday, July 9, 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
    Updating InstandID server.
    User Impact: Expected outage of InstantID during this time period.
  • Sunday, July 27, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    Updating MyServiceHub & eHR.
    User Impact:
    1) MyServiceHub - no outage. Brief outage for non-production environments.
    2) eHR  - brief outage for web services only and for non-production environments.
  • Sunday, August 24, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
    Updating MyServiceHub.
    User Impact: MyServiceHub production and all related functions will be down during the outage. All non-production environments will have a brief outage throughout the day.
  • Sunday, August 31, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
    Updating eHR.
    User Impact: eHR production and all related functions will be down during the outage. All non-prod environments will have a brief outage throughout the day.
