CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table below for the particular system/application.

    User Impact: Network devices will be disconnected at OAK building as well as the Bookstore for network switches upgrade. The bookstore is closed on Sunday
  • Sunday, April 26, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
    Upgrading SBB network switches.
    User Impact: Network devices will be disconnected at SBB 2nd floor for network switches upgrade.
  • Monday, April 27, 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. 
    Enabling Google NotebookLM for TMU.
    User Impact: None expected.
  • Monday, April 27, 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
    Renewing TMU Wireless certificate.
    User Impact: The renewal will force all clients to have to accept the new certificate up reconnecting and in some cases, delete/forget the TMU wireless profile and reconnect.
  • Thursday, April 30, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. 
    Updating ColdFusion server.
    User Impact: During restart the apps on the servers are unavailable (the outage should take only a few minutes). 
  • Friday, May 1, 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. 
    Upgrading my.torontomu portal software.
    User Impact: Access to my.torontomu portal maybe intermittent during this period. 
  • Sunday, May 17, 8:00 a.m. to Monday, May 18, 8:00 p.m. 
    Updating MyServiceHub.
    User Impact: MyServiceHub production and all related functions will be down between 8 a.m.  and 1 p.m. during the outage on the 17th. All non-prod environments will have a brief outage throughout the day on the next day (18th).
  • Friday, May 22, 5:00 p.m. to Monday, May 25, 8:00 a.m.  
    Upgrading eHR.
    User Impact: eHR production and all related functions will be down during the outage window.
  • Sunday, June 7, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 
    Updating eHR.
    User Impact: eHR production and all related functions will be down during the outage. All non-prod environments will have a brief outage throughout the day.
