About the program/department/team

You will be working with Professor Rachel MacHenry (Fashion) and Professor Alex Bal (New Media) to assist in researching and developing a materials-based workshop series for Creative School students.

The opportunity

Survey (approx. 5 hrs)

  • Format and distribute a survey to assess interest in workshop series across The Creative School and in other departments.

Research and Development (approx. 30 hrs)

  • Analyse results of survey to apply to grant. 
  • Finalize workshops and identify workshop leaders.
  • Confirm interest of workshop leaders.
  • Write up for each workshop.
  • Materials and equipment list.
  • Workshop leader profile.
  • Create Project Budget for series
  • Support writing SSHRC Connections Grant

Qualifications

Good research and writing skills, plus an interest in materials-led investigation and workshop development.
