We Are Always Looking for Talented Graduate Students

The Propulsion and Clean Energy Research Group at Toronto Metropolitan University is always interested in outstanding students who are passionate about experimental research in propulsion, combustion, and clean energy technologies.

Eligibility and Application Process

We welcome applications from highly motivated students with a strong background in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics, particularly those with expertise in experimental fluid dynamics, combustion, or related areas.

Ph.D. Applicants

• Must have a recent M.A.Sc. degree in a relevant field.
• Should have a track record of research experience.
• Strong technical writing skills and proficiency in English are required.
• Experience in image processing using Matlab or Python is an asset.

M.A.Sc. Applicants (Domestic Only)

• Must have a recent B.Sc. in a relevant field.
• Only Canadian citizens and permanent residents are eligible for M.A.Sc. positions due to funding constraints.

Funding and Enrollment

• Accepted Ph.D. and domestic M.A.Sc. students receive a tuition waiver and a doctoral stipend (details: www.torontomu.ca/graduate/future-students/financing-your-studies).
• Admission to TMU’s Department of Aerospace Engineering is required. More details can be found here: www.torontomu.ca/aerospace/graduate/admissions.
