Interview with Caleb Wesley; Spotlight on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

In light of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we are delighted to share an interview that took place earlier this year with an Environmental Applied Science and Management MASc student Caleb Wesley

Caleb is a member of the Moose Cree First Nation and is the Coordinator for Indigenous Knowledge & Science Outreach for SciXchange, TMU.  He has a passion for educating others of Indigenous science and supporting members of the Indigenous community. See here for a more detailed biography of Caleb's amazing work: https://www.torontomu.ca/scixchange/SXCAboutUs/MeettheTeam/TeamProfiles/

Urban Water TMU is fortunate to have had Caleb join us to discuss his journey as an Indigenous student. He reflects in the interview on the challenges that he has personally faced throughout this experience and what inspired him to pursue his education. He also discusses his master's research where he plans to support members of his own community and provides some advice for Indigenous students that are just starting their own journey.
