You're invited to the Urban Farm at TMU’s Living Lab Roundtable on February 15

This day-long, in-person event at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) is an opportunity for researchers and professionals across disciplines and industries to meet, exchange ideas, and explore research projects related to rooftop farming taking place at the Urban Farm at TMU.

You can also learn more about how to apply to be an Urban Farm Living Lab Research Partner, with applications for the upcoming 2023 season being accepted from February 1 to February 28, 2023.

Whether you’re an academic, industry professional, urban farmer, policy maker, community member, or student, we welcome all at this collaborative event.

  • Date/Time: Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Location: Sears Atrium 3rd floor, George Vari Engineering & Computing Centre, 245 Church Street, Toronto. 
  • Cost: $20 for general admission and $10 for students. Registration includes lunch and refreshments provided by TMU Eats.
  • Deadline to register: Wednesday, February 8 at 5 p.m. 

If cost is a barrier, please fill out the  (google form) Urban Farm at TMU’s Living Lab Roundtable Accommodation Request form (external link)  to register free of cost. Once your form has been processed, we will email you with a confirmation of your registration. Please do not register through the ePly form if you have completed the Google Form.

Cancellation Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellations to receive a full refund. Any no-shows or notice less than 24 hours, will not receive a refund.
