Congrats to Ted Rogers School PhD student for most read and trending article on Journal of Business Analytics

Last year, Dane Vanderkooi, who is currently a PhD student, published his Master's thesis in the Journal of Business Analytics (external link)  (JBA) with co-authors Dr. Atefeh (Atty) Mashatan and Dr. Ozgur Turetken. Recently their article has been ranked as the top downloaded and most read paper of the journal in the last year. The article is also ranked among the top 30 most trending articles in JBA (external link)  in the journal’s 6 year history. JBA’s mission is to serve the emerging and rapidly growing community of business analytics academics and practitioners. “This is an incredible honour and privilege and I encourage anyone interested in how media attention can affect and impact online sentiment on social media to check it out”, says Dane.
