Charles Davies at the podium

The institute continues to be a leading partner of the multi-university consortium for Canadian participation in the annual Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (external link, opens in new window)  research efforts. GEM is a prestigious and long-running global study to analyze the level of entrepreneurship occurring in a wide range of countries around the world. The GEM project collects data on entrepreneurship participation through both surveys and expert interviews in each participating country. ERI has also independently published the analysis and report of Ontario-specific findings. The primary GEM publication was:

Wolff, N., Valliere, D., Davis, C., Lin, H., Cukier, W., Cyr, D. and Wong, D. (2014) "Driving wealth creation and social development in Ontario: 2014 GEM Ontario report", Toronto Metropolitan University, Toronto, ON.
