Lucas Dufour
Overview
Dr. Dufour is an Assistant Professor of Human Resources Management and Organizational Behaviour at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Toronto Metropolitan University. Prior to that, he worked for various academic institutions such as University of Toronto, University of Windsor, and Montpellier Business School in France. His areas of research are primarily the socialization of newcomers, creativity/innovation, ethics, and emotions. His research has been published in journals such as Academy of Management Review, Organization Science, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Business Ethics and Journal of Business Research. He has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels in various institutions throughout the world and has provided executive education for companies including Air France, EDF, All Nippon Airways, Hitachi and the World Health Organization. He is also a co-founder of Performance Lab, that employs scientific methods to solve concrete managerial problems. He particularly enjoys teaching in a concrete and applicable way using his field experience with companies to enrich his classes.
