Celebrating 50 years of excellence in planning education

2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the School of Urban and Regional Planning at Ryerson University.

Founded in 1969, our planning program is one of the largest and oldest in North America. Our school now offers Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning and Master of Urban Development degree programs, and is home to over 400 undergraduate and 60 graduate students.

Join us for a year of celebrations as we honour the work of our community, connect with each other and build capacity for the future.

Through the years

In honour of our 50th anniversary, we look back on the people, places and ideas that have shaped the School of Urban and Regional Planning over the past 50 years.
