Project Title: Measuring intraspecific variation in tolerance to road salt for Daphnia populations sampled along spatial gradients in lake chloride levels using standardized toxicity (LC50) tests.
I study the impact of road salt on freshwater zooplankton collected from Lakes Ontario and Scugog to better understand regional chloride sensitivity. This work is part of a larger collaborative Global Salt Initiative.
