Alissa Novitchkova, a Fulbright and Sakharov fellow, is a human rights defender from Ukraine that worked for a decade with human rights and international advocacy, freedom of assembly and women's empowering across Eastern Europe and in her doctoral reserch she is conceptualising her unique professional practice into the theory researching mobilising messages in social media for womens' empowerements during Ukrainian protests and Russian-Ukrainian war (2014-202?).
