Ontario University Procurement Management Association

The Ontario University Procurement Management Association (OUPMA) promotes strategic supply, co-operative procurement and the ethical exchange of information between its members and affiliates. Members share best practices and utilize strengths of the few to benefit the group as whole.

TMU meets twice annually with the OUPMA to discuss provincial and federal tax regulatory issues, collaborative procurement opportunities, sustainability, changes in procurement strategies, technology and items unique to the educational environment.

Canadian Association of University Business Officers

Founded in 1937, the Canadian Association of University Business Officers (CAUBO) (external link)  is a non-profit professional organization representing the interest of administrative and financial officers in Canadian universities and affiliated colleges. It is an umbrella organization for the many players in university administration. CAUBO’s mission is to promote and support the professional management and effective leadership in the administrative affairs of Canadian universities and colleges, and in doing so aims to help achieve the goals of the institutions it serves. CAUBO is supported by a vibrant community of volunteers. It offers a wide array of programs and services, including an information repository that is a source of choice on administrative issues for members, partners and decision makers in higher education.
