Research at the ELIXIR Lab is dedicated to advancing adaptive, intelligent, and resilient robotic systems through the integration of embodied AI, soft robotics, and geometric control theory. Our mission is to develop robots capable of real-time adaptation, robust decision-making, and long-term autonomy across a wide spectrum of domains, from domestic and biomedical settings to aerial, terrestrial, and extraterrestrial exploration.
Our research is structured around five core pillars:
- Geometric Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) of Terrestrial and Space Robotics
- Embodied Self-Identification and Damage Recovery in Reconfigurable Robotics
- Modeling and Embodied Intelligence for Bio-Inspired Shape-Morphing Soft Robotics
- Brain Dynamic Functional Connectivity for Artificial General Intelligence
- Embodied AI for Decentralized GNC of Collaborative Space Manipulators
