Programs to Explore
Biomakerspace
A program that typically runs every semester, The SDZ’s Biomakerspace gives students the chance to explore problems and test out creative ways to solve them, get hands-on experience with real-world issues, and be exposed to different career pathways.
Student In-Residence
Students in the SIR program get the chance to work with startups at the SDZ! This is a paid opportunity where students can exercise their skills and increase their employability, connect with entrepreneurs, and get exposure to new potential career pathways.

Past Programming

Student Entrepreneurs in-Residence
These are leadership roles that require intrinsic motivation, creativity, and perseverance. Both the technical and non-technical SEIRs will have the opportunity to apply the skills they’re building in the classroom to a real-world workplace setting, refine their expertise, and explore part of TMU’s innovation ecosystem which allows them to build and enhance their entrepreneurial mindset.
