Rural, Remote, and Equity Health
This two-week service-learning experiential course explores health equity issues in rural and remote communities by targeting public, occupational, and environmental health issues. This Indigenous community-partnered course will have topics that change yearly. The course is hybrid: lectures in the classroom are followed by fieldwork in the community. The first half of the course will provide an introduction via lectures and case studies. The second part of the course involves real-world, local community-based learning and teaching.
