His forthcoming work, Black Grammars: On Difference and Belonging, explores the experiences and perspectives of Blackness and Black identification among East African Diasporas across the UK, Canada, and the US. More broadly, Dr. Tecle is interested in questions of Black Sociality and Black cultural production, and their expressions across the diaspora.
