Climate Change and Health
This course will examine the multifaceted health impacts of climate change. Through the consideration of illustrative case studies, the course will cover the direct and indirect effects of climate change on natural environmental hazards, air quality, infectious diseases, food and water safety and security, and mental health. The implications for vulnerable populations and health equity will be explored, including how society and communities can mitigate, adapt, and improve societal and health system preparedness and resilience.
