Field Studies in Urban Environmental Sci.

This course explores how the natural processes governing Earth's major systems (the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, and biosphere) are impacted by urbanization through field-based experiential learning. Students will learn how to collect and manage urban environmental data using modern field and laboratory techniques in preparation for analysis and/or modelling. Students will learn how to communicate scientific knowledge in written and oral form to academic, professional, and public audiences.
