TZ Summer helps you rethink the entertainment & media industry from the napkin stage, to launch and beyond.
Whether you’re just starting out or rethinking your current strategy, we want to help creatives, storytellers & entrepreneurs grow a new confident creative business mindset - in a way that makes sense to your project and business. For some of you creativity feels hard, for others business can feel like a dirty word. TZ bridges the best of all worlds, and shows you new ways to succeed.
The 8-week course was designed by creative entrepreneurs and storytellers to help you build skillsets, frameworks, and learn about new tools and new ways to goal set built in along the way.

The Transmedia Zone is a one-of-a-kind entertainment incubator that cultivates a vibrant community, fostering innovation and creative exploration in storytelling and entertainment. We support the next wave of storytellers, creators, and entrepreneurs, who possess a distinct voice and a fervent drive to craft innovative media experiences.
Whether it’s embracing emerging technology, reinterpreting conventional storytelling formats, expanding audience outreach, or establishing fresh platforms to bolster creativity - the TZ serves as a dynamic conductor of change, propelling the evolution of storytelling in the ever-expanding and always changing landscape of entertainment media
TZ Summer gives you workshops to help you reach your goals, but we know that true change and career goals can't be met, in a single bootcamp. Which is why unlike many Canadian opportunities of incubation - we're here for the long term! With personalized mentorship combined with goal setting and a structure for success.
This Summer we are allowing folks to join us for just the bootcamp. For these folks, there will be a charge of $250 for the full bootcamp itself.
Included will be the 8 workshops and 2 private sessions with our team.
This is best suited for if:
- you're looking for knowledge but not full incubation
- you've got a successful business but want new creative structure and crave ways to level up your skills
- you're looking to tap into a fantastic creative community of storytellers and entrepreneurs
- you don't have the time for a 9-month incubation but want to challenge yourself this summer
- you're looking to apply to tz in the coming months and want to get a head start
For those who pitch to join our membership, TZ Summer is included with your monthly member fee of $40/month.
This is best suited for if:
- you're looking for 6 months to 1 year incubation to launch your idea
- you're ready for new approaches and are looking for sustainable success in media and entertainment
- you need access to tools, physical spaces, co-working, equipment, and online research
- you're looking for continued mentorshop, industry mentors, year-round accountability, and help from our greater community
- you're ready to begin a new adventure and know that to grow, you need new creative networking opportunities
