Chris Jones

Chris Jones, a 2014 graduate majoring in Law & Business, was actively involved in the Law Clinic program, the Law Research Centre, and won the Law & Business Case Competition. He continued his engagement with the university through the Law & Business Alumni Association and the Ted Rogers School of Management Faculty Council. Chris is the Founder & CEO of CANNABIS XPRESS, which was founded in 2020 and is the first and largest private cannabis retailer in New Brunswick, with 22+ locations across Ontario and New Brunswick. Chris is also a Professor at George Brown College in Toronto, where he teaches business and cannabis industry courses, and he frequently speaks on entrepreneurship, retail strategy, and emerging industries. In addition to building CANNABIS XPRESS, he is actively involved in mentoring entrepreneurs and supporting startup ecosystems across Canada. Chris holds an MBA from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. Outside of business, he is passionate about fitness, travel, and animal welfare. CANNABIS XPRESS has been recognized among Canada’s fastest-growing companies and Chris is frequently invited to speak at universities, industry conferences, and entrepreneurship events.
