Valavan Kugathasan

Valavan Kugathasan is a TMU alumnus who has made significant contributions to the university and the business community. As a founder of the Ryerson Consulting Association (RCA), Ryerson Consulting Group (RCG), and Ryerson Commerce and Governance Association (RCGA), he demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to improving the student experience at TRSM. Valavan currently serves as Head of Innovation & Digital at ADP, where he leads strategy and execution for global payments, digital channels, and automation, including innovations like Gen AI and conversational AI. Previously, he held senior roles in digital transformation and business strategy at ADP. He remains a dedicated advocate for TMU students, providing mentorship and supporting their recruitment into top firms like Deloitte. He also contributes to the United Way Think Tank and serves on the board for CAMH Engage, co-leading its corporate sponsorship strategy.
