Shumaila is a first-year undergraduate student currently majoring in Business Technology Management. She is driven by a deep curiosity about where technology meets the human experience. She believes that technology isn’t just about systems and data, it’s about people. With her growing passion for human-centered design, ethical tech development, and digital well-being, Shumaila wants to explore how digital tools can empower, include, and care for users in meaningful ways. Joining the CMIC Lab represents a key step in changing her academic foundation into applied research. Shumaila is eager to contribute to projects that blend psychology with technology, and also develop skills in qualitative and quantitative research, all while learning from a community of passionate researchers.
