Rifah Chowdhury graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University on October 16, 2024, with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She plans to continue her graduate studies in Occupational Psychology, with a focus on understanding human behaviour in the workplace environment.
Rifah joined the CMIC Lab as a Research Assistant in February 2025, and since then has contributed to three research projects focused on communication, deception detection, and cybersecurity behaviour. Through these roles, she gained hands-on experience in participant recruitment, lab setup, data collection, and ethical research practices. She maintained financial records, administered consent procedures, and ensured lab security and readiness.
Rifah aims to explore the human resources field to gain practical experience in organizational development. Combining her research background with her interest in workplace dynamics, Rifah is committed to building a career that provides a link between psychology and human resources to create productive and healthier work environments.
