Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
Prarthana is a third-year psychology student minoring in criminology, with a strong interest in behavioural psychology and child development. Her academic interests center on understanding how early experiences, social environments, and individual differences shape behaviour and decision making. She is particularly drawn to questions involving risk, resilience, and the ways systems can better support vulnerable populations.
Prarthana plans to attend law school and pursue a career as a lawyer, with a focus on advocacy and problem solving. She hopes to build a career that bridges psychological insight with legal practice, using research informed approaches to promote fairness and meaningful change.
Through her involvement with the CMIC Lab, Prarthana aims to strengthen her research and analytical thinking skills while contributing thoughtfully to projects that examine behaviour and social issues. She values collaborative research as both intellectually meaningful and impactful in advancing evidence based solutions.
