Bachelor of Psychology

Pranaya is a final-year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University, with minors in Human Resources and English. She began her post-secondary studies in engineering but discovered a passion for understanding the human mind and behaviour, leading her to shift her focus to psychology.

She is mainly interested in social psychology, particularly in exploring how and why people interact in certain ways, and what factors shape these interactions. Currently, Pranaya works as a transcription lead and research assistant at the CMIC Lab, where she contributes to projects examining variations in computer-mediated communication.

She intends to develop her research experience and pursue graduate studies focused on understanding and analyzing computer-mediated communication in contexts where artificial intelligence plays a role in influencing human interaction.
