Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
Muhammad is a third-year undergraduate Psychology student at Toronto Metropolitan University and has been volunteering with the CMIC Lab since 2025. He is passionate about understanding human behaviour and brain processes and is interested in the intersectionality of clinical psychology and mental health work. He is also particularly interested in biological and psychological treatments for mental health disorders.
Muhammad is a member of the South Asian Mental Health Research Youth Collective, where he contributes to initiatives that promote culturally informed approaches to mental health. Through his involvement at the CMIC Lab, he looks forward to expanding his research skills and further developing his academic and professional experience in psychology.
In the future, Muhammad aspires to pursue a career as a counselling psychologist, clinical psychologist, or psychiatrist.
