Kirsten Trotter
Winter 2026 - Present
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, York University
Kirsten is a third-year undergraduate student at York University in the Bachelor of Arts Honours Psychology program. She has a strong interest in forensic psychology and the study of drug-related behaviour, with the aspiration of furthering her understanding in the influence of criminal behaviour and substance use through a biopsychosocial approach.
Outside of the lab, she is actively involved in campus organisations, including Peace by Peace, helping to teach children conflict resolution skills. These experiences allow her to strengthen her leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills while applying psychological principles in real-world settings.
Through volunteering in the CMIC Lab, Kirsten is able to gain hands-on research experience exploring social behaviours and developing her analytical skills.
