Welcome to the Computer Vision Research Facility, one of several research laboratories in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Ryerson University. The main research directions our team are: pose estimation algorithms for LIDAR-based computer vision; b) Continuum Shape Constraint Analysis and shape design for efficient LIDAR pose estimation and tracking; c) Extended Kalman Filter for ICP pose estimation; d) Autonomous robotic door opening algorithms.
