Zaker Khan
Zaker is a PhD student in the Policy Studies program at the Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). He aims to build on his Master’s empirical research that examined anti-corruption related organizational compliance dynamics/complexities inside the corporation. His PhD research adopts a broader lens by exploring the interactions and interconnections between the public policy regulator compliance activities and those taking place within the corporation. He hopes that this combined “top-down” and “bottom-up” research approach will increase understanding and provide unique insights concerning how regulation is actually implemented throughout the inter/intra organizational chain from government and other regulators to regulatory functions inside the private corporation as well as its external business partners.
