Graham Hudson and Andrew McWilliams have been appointed as interim deans, Lincoln Alexander School of Law and Faculty of Science, effective January 2026.

I am pleased to announce two new interim dean appointments at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), effective January 1, 2026.

Graham Hudson will serve as interim dean of the Lincoln Alexander School of Law. Andrew McWilliams will serve as interim dean of the Faculty of Science.

Both will lead their faculties for six months while Donna E. Young, dean, Lincoln Alexander School of Law and David Cramb, dean, Faculty of Science, each take administrative leave.

I want to thank Graham and Andrew for accepting these interim roles and for their continued dedication to their faculties.

As a professor and associate dean, academic at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, Graham has been actively involved in the development of the law school’s JD program, including its integrated practice curriculum.

He has been a faculty member at TMU since 2010 and has held several administrative positions during this time. Graham has law degrees from Osgoode Hall Law School (PhD), Queen's University (LLM) and the University of Toronto (JD).

Andrew McWilliams: Faculty of Science

Andrew is an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biology and the associate dean, undergraduate programs and student affairs in the Faculty of Science.

Andrew has been a TMU faculty member since 2003. He previously served as academic coordinator for chemistry and biology courses and programming at the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education, and as academic coordinator in the First Year Science Office.

He is actively involved at the university and within the greater academic community.

I would like to thank faculty members at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law and Faculty of Science for their feedback during the consultation process and for sharing their support for Graham and Andrew’s appointments in their interim roles.
