Students sit around tables in the Library and study.

A review/search committee for the associate vice-president, research and innovation is being established.

Naomi Adelson is completing her first term as associate vice-president, research and innovation, and in keeping with Toronto Metropolitan University’s policy for the Appointment of Academic Administrators (AAA Policy), I am writing to announce the establishment of a review/search committee for the associate vice-president, research and innovation.

The establishment of the committee and the subsequent review/search process will adhere to Toronto Metropolitan University’s policies on equity, diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention and access (further details are available in the AAA Policy, Part 4, Section 1, and AAA Procedures, Part 2, Section 1H).

Information regarding dates and links to nomination forms will be emailed directly by the Senate Office to members of the respective academic units who are eligible to nominate and vote for members to this committee.

I look forward to sharing the composition of the committee with the community over the coming weeks.

Steven N. Liss
Vice-President, Research and Innovation
