TMU Indigenous Storyteller in Residence Jesse Wente explores cultural participation, national sovereignty and sport in this exclusive talk.
Join Jesse Wente, TMU's Indigenous Storyteller in Residence, as he presents this exclusive talk looking at the relationship between cultural participation and national sovereignty. Using sports, specifically hockey, the talk will explore strategies to encourage cultural participation, as well as identify obstacles to this strategy.
Doors Open at 6:30pm with the talk beginning at 7:00pm.
