The Entrepreneurial Mindset: Why Every Career Needs It Now

As AI reshapes the way we work, curiosity, adaptability, and lifelong learning are becoming increasingly important. This conversation will explore how an entrepreneurial mindset can help professionals navigate change, embrace emerging technologies, and identify new opportunities throughout their careers.

Bringing perspectives from entrepreneurship, skills development, and AI are Eva El-Switi, Manager of Skills Academy & Special Programs at DMZ, and Mohamed Yousuf, Founder of Smart Workforce AI. They’ll share insights from their work supporting people and organizations as they adapt to a rapidly changing world of work.

They’ll be joined by two graduates of The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education: Jocelyn Courneya, Marketing & Communications Lead at the Courage to Act Foundation and Founder & Creative Director of 558 Media, and Obinna Dinneya, Data Scientist at the Inspectorate of Policing in Ontario and Partner at TenX Capital. Drawing on their own career journeys, they’ll share how continuous learning and entrepreneurial thinking have helped them grow, adapt, and create new opportunities.

Together, the panel will explore what it means to think entrepreneurially in today’s workplace — from adapting to new technologies and navigating uncertainty to approaching your career with greater creativity, confidence, and intention.
