The iBEST Visiting Lecturer Series is honoured to host Dr. Shaghayegh Shajari, Assistant Professor, Toronto Metropolitan University.
In her lecture, “Bio-Interfaced Soft Materials for Point-of-Care and Personalized Medicine,” Dr. Shajari will explore how advances in soft, bio-interfaced materials are enabling next-generation wearable and implantable devices for continuous, real-time health monitoring. She will highlight how these technologies bridge engineering, materials science, and medicine to support early diagnosis, personalized care, and the translation of lab-based discoveries into real-world clinical applications.
