CreativeMornings is a free monthly breakfast speaker series for the creative community, pairing an inspiring talk with structured, low-pressure networking that makes it easy to meet new people before the school or work day begins. February's CreativeMornings event features a short talk by Herbert Lui, author of "Creative Doing: 75 Practical Exercises to Unblock Your Creative Potential", exploring the CreativeMornings global theme CAMINO, a Spanish word meaning “the way” or “the path.” Drawing on a decade of research and conversations with working artists and creatives, Lui will share practical exercises and mental models for building a consistent creative habit, especially when you feel blocked, unsure, or stretched thin by school, work, or life. Framed as an accessible, step-by-step approach to creative momentum, the session will speak to students, staff and community members navigating their next project, a new hobby, or a longer-term shift in direction. CreativeMornings Toronto is presented in partnership with the Master of Digital Media (MDM) Program and co-hosted by Media and Design Innovation PhD Student and Creative School Sessional Instructor Lee Eldridge.
