Taking place on February 26, 2026 on the SLC 6th Floor and Amphitheatre, the event will feature student-led art installations, live performances, food from across the diaspora, and immersive storytelling.
Black Eras is an invitation to step into our stories. This is a space for Black students and community members to honour where we’ve come from and celebrate who we are. by walking through creative worlds inspired by childhood memories, past eras, and the richness of our cultures. Through memory, we honour our ancestors. Through reflection, we explore identity. Through imagination, we celebrate Black innovation and limitless futures.
What to expect:

Your Black Eras Passport: get it stamped as you travel through immersive portals across time and culture
Cultural Food Tour (6th Floor): eat your way across the diaspora with flavours from around the world
Performance Showcase: end the night in with powerful student performances that bring culture on stage.
Live DJ and Closing Celebration: Celebrating us and our community to close off our exhibition.
