Join us for a beginner-friendly weight training workshop designed specifically for trans and gender non-conforming individuals at TMU! Led by Craig Jeffery (they/them), a personal trainer specializing in the queer and trans community, this workshop creates a welcoming and affirming space to explore strength training in a way that aligns with your body and goals.

Throughout this four-week series, you’ll:
  Learn the basics of weightlifting in a supportive, non-judgmental environment
  Build confidence in using gym equipment safely and effectively
  Develop strength while honoring your unique journey and body
  Connect with a like-minded community, fostering belonging and support

 

Workshop Details:


  Location: RAC Studio 1 for session 1; RAC Weight Room for sessions 2 to 4
Time:  2pm to 3pm
  Dates: Wednesdays on Sept 17, 24, Oct 1 & 8
  Duration: 4 weeks, 1 session per week (60 minutes)
  Cost: $10 Registration Fee (Includes Welcome Package & Handouts)
