Exploring Consent - Workshop

Curious about creating a culture of consent at TMU? In this workshop, students will have an opportunity to dive deeper into the core components of consent and explore consent communication in distinct situations, like when alcohol or other drugs are involved. The workshop will be interactive and discussion-based, so students will have an opportunity to share their perspectives and ask relevant questions

The workshop will take place on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 3:30-4:30pm in KHW-57 (Active Learning Classroom). Registration required. This event is open all TMU students.

The Consent Comes First office is hosting this event as part of Consent Awareness Week. Consent Awareness Week is an educational initiative held twice a year at universities across Ontario. The week is an opportunity for campus communities to create a dialogue about consent, pleasure, relationships and increase understanding of sexual violence. It’s also an opportunity to raise awareness of both on and off-campus services.
