Statement regarding February 23 security incident

The University is aware of an incident on-campus during a student club tabling event at the George Vari Engineering and Computing Centre on Monday, February 23. This is completely unacceptable behaviour and it is being actively investigated by the University. If the individuals in question are TMU community members, the University will take action to address this in accordance with our policies.

As highlighted in the President’s new year message, the University will apply the Student Code of Non-Academic Conduct to any behaviours that contravene our shared values. 

Student support has reached out to the impacted students in the wake of this incident.
