TA/GA: Marketing Transferable Skills for TA/GAs

TA/GAs at TMU carry out a wide range of duties such as grading assignments and providing feedback, facilitating labs and tutorials, serving as mentors, and consulting with students both in person and online to help support student success. This workshop will provide strategies for identifying and communicating the transferable skills and value of TA/GA experiences beyond academia. Participants will discuss how to highlight TA/GA experience in resumes, job interviews, and social networking platforms such as LinkedIn.

This workshop is hosted by The Centre's Graduate Student Educational Developer Team.  

Note: This session counts as one workshop towards the workshop component of GTDP Level 1.
