Teaching Dossier Modules for TA/GAs - Information Session

This information session will introduce TA/GAs to a Teaching Dossiers Open Educational Resource (OER) that was collaboratively created by multiple Ontario universities and was funded by eCampusOntario's Virtual Learning Strategy. Participants will experience a demonstration of this Teaching Dossier OER and then alowed to go through the modules to build their knowledge and experience of teaching dossiers (asynchronous learning modules hosted in D2L Brightspace). This OER can be used to compile, compose, and revise Teaching Philosophy Statements and summaries of teaching experiences, approaches, and accomplishments. The Teaching Dossier OER extends Kearns and Sullivan’s (2011) call for a systematic process for meaningful reflection on teaching and learning from Teaching Philosophy Statements to Teaching Dossiers more broadly.
