I am interested in how narrative frames are deployed during times of crisis, and how these frames influence perception of the event and future behaviour. I have previously researched how media framing was deployed by The Hospital for Sick Children to influence donor behaviour. I have also investigated how framing was used in print media reporting on two of Canada’s costliest wildfires.
