Mark Hayward’s research delves into the cultural dimensions of early computing and its impact on media and popular culture. His current projects include an analysis of the role of screens in retail banking and a study on computing’s influence on U.S. television during the 1950s. Additionally, he contributes to a SSHRC-funded project on the history of educational media.
