My research examines technical and professional communication (TPC) at the intersections of race, rhetoric and digital literacy. Grounded in sites of family and community, my work highlights the knowledge these spaces contribute to a field traditionally centered on corporations and industry. I am particularly interested in how Black families engage in digital writing practices, while also analyzing the use of kinship rhetorics across online and offline spaces.
