DARE to Dream: FEAS Marks Milestone for Class of 2025
On Monday, June 23rd, the FEAS community came together to celebrate the achievements of its newest graduates. Held at the historic Maple Leaf Gardens, convocation marks a significant milestone for hundreds of students who have completed degrees in engineering, architectural science, and building science.
In a ceremony filled with pride and reflection, Dean Sri Krishnan addressed the graduating class, congratulating them on their resilience, curiosity, and commitment to innovation. His remarks encouraged graduates to carry forward the values of equity, impact, and lifelong learning as they step into the next chapter of their professional journeys.
"Today marks an end and a beginning for each of you - it is possibly the most significant milestone you have met in your lives so far."
A highlight of the day included the presentation of the university’s Gold Medal to Biomedical Engineering graduate, Areeba Amjad, as well as moments of personal celebration as graduates crossed the stage to the cheers of family, friends, and faculty. The event was also an opportunity to recognize the supportive community that helped students reach this moment, from dedicated professors and staff, to peers and industry mentors.
“When challenges come, and they will, remember the strength that brought you this far.”
Following the ceremony, new graduates and their families, friends and supporters joined FEAS faculty and staff for a celebratory reception. Over refreshments and photo ops, they were able to reflect on their shared journey and mark the occasion together.
As they move forward as engineers, architects, designers, and changemakers, FEAS graduates join a global alumni network of more than 36,000 members who are shaping industries and communities with bold ideas and purposeful action.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025—we can’t wait to see what you build next.
