Biography:
Dr. Carl Barrelet is a postdoctoral fellow at the Data Science Lab of Ryerson University. His interests are in applying data analytics in the fields of finance, healthcare and engineering. Specifically, he is working with the Toronto Stock Exchange and IBM Watson Analytics. He graduated with a Ph.D. from Harvard University in chemical physics. He has been involved with a number of successful startups including Kurion, Vyome, and Invictus Oncology. He currently serves as a Venture Partner at Navam Capital, a venture capital firm.
