Psychology of Health and Health Care

This course will offer insight into the psychological influences on health and disease, with an emphasis on the application of psychological principles and data to health care delivery. Among the topics discussed are models of health and disease, health promotion, disease prevention, stress, pain, and the management and treatment of chronic and life-threatening illnesses.
