Research Methods and Statistics I

This course introduces students to basic research designs, statistical concepts, and data-analysis procedures. Topics include describing and summarizing data, probability basics and hypothesis testing, t-tests, and an introduction to simple correlation and regression. A statistical software package is used throughout the course. This course is intended for students enrolled in the full-time BA psychology degree program or a psychology certificate.
