Contemporary Issues in New Media Art
How do concepts shape our understanding of our world? What happens when issues and ideas come into focus or fade away? How do they drive our passions and our approach to artistic practice? This course focuses on the concepts, issues and ideas that animate current conversations and practices in new media. It offers the opportunity to examine several pressing issues and develop a critical and nuanced relationship to one that is of particular interest. (Formerly RTA 323.)
