Clinical Skills II

This course provides an introduction to midwifery clinical skills and competencies in preparation for the first midwifery clinical placement. Students will acquire knowledge required for routine midwifery care at a level appropriate for a student in their first clinical placement. The course will provide an introduction to clinical skills utilized in prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care.

Prerequisites

(MWF 150, BLG 101 and BLG 111) or (MWF 150 and enrolled in the Midwifery Post- Baccalaureate program)
